Social networking with a purpose

Read an interesting article in the Australian today which illustrated the power of blogging. The recent and ongoing milk contamination scandal in China has resulted in a flood of comment and criticism of the companies involved, and the government, on internet blogging sites in China. Despite the government's attempts to quarantine the effects of the scandal by limiting media coverage, news has kept leaking out, chiefly on the internet.
